Zhang Hongliang, Hubei, Shaanxi, Yang Hong Won The Golden Shoes Cup
The gold medal Grand Prix of China's urban fitness race, which was co sponsored by the State Sports General Administration body center and the Hubei Sports Bureau, ended in Hankou beach yesterday. Zhang Hongliang from Xi'an and Yang Hong from our province won the champion of the open men's and women's open group respectively. They won the highest prize in this Grand Prix: a pair of pure gold running shoes with nearly 2 kilograms.
The Golden Grand Prix of China's urban fitness long distance run was officially launched in March this year, after a sub station competition in Chengdu, Guangzhou, Xi'an and Hangzhou. Yesterday's WuHan Railway Station was the finals.
Yesterday's competition was divided into three parts. One was the open group competition, a total of 200 men and women participated in the competition. Two was the family group competition, a total of 100 families took part; three was the fitness group competition, nearly 3000 people participated.
