The chairman of the Organizing Committee (NCTO) wrote to Mexico economic minister Huo Diaz (Hugo Diaz), strongly endorsing Mexico's decision to start WTO anti-dumping investigations on denim from China.

NCTO President Cass Johnson (Cass Johnson) said the move was aimed at preventing damage to Mexico and the United States denim.

An important step in the direction.

Johnson pointed out that Mexico's indictment submitted to WTO said that in 2008 and 2009, the price of Chinese denim was 28 cents per square meter, which did not even contain the cost of cotton in denim fabrics.

Johnson said China is absurd.

Exports have hurt textile producers in Mexico and the United States because they have deprived Mexico and the United States for their urgent sales and production.

They undermine the free market principles advocated by the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), while encouraging illegal trading of goods in the North American Free Trade Agreement area.

Johnson added that as a partner of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), the US textile industry fully supports and encourages the government of Mexico to take an active and bold action to prevent Mexico industries from losing more job opportunities and production.
