Wenzhou Longwan Synthetic Leather Solid Waste Disposal Center Officially Run

A few days ago, the first synthetic leather solid waste treatment center in China, the Wenzhou synthetic leather solid waste disposal center, was put into operation after 3 months' debugging.

As a result, the solid waste disposal problem that has long plagued the healthy development of synthetic leather industry is expected to be successfully solved.

It is understood that Wenzhou is the largest synthetic leather production base in the country and even in Asia, and its products occupy more than 50% of the domestic market share.

The rapid development of industry also brings a lot of solid waste generated by enterprise agglomeration. If it is not handled properly, it will cause serious pollution to the environment.

In recent years, the synthetic leather industry in Wenzhou has invested more than 300 million yuan in environmental protection.

In 2003, the chamber of Commerce commissioned the Wenzhou man Li Huan Technology Co., Ltd. to take the lead in tackling the problem of harmless disposal of solid waste and undertake the scientific research of the project.

The company is responsible for the introduction, at present, the project is only a phase, the annual treatment capacity of solid waste is 2880 tons, but the synthetic leather industry in Wenzhou produces about 7000 tons of solid waste a year, and the production capacity still can not keep up with the market demand. Therefore, the follow-up development of the project has great potential.

It is reported that all 56 synthetic leather enterprises in Longwan district have already signed contracts for solid waste disposal.
